We got exciting news before ASEE 2025
Our collaborative paper with UF Department of Engineering Education has been selected as on of the top 4 rated papers in Computers in Education Division (COED) at ASEE 2025
Paper Title: Engaging Minds: Impact of Sequential Live Coding on Academic Engagement
Authors: Kwansun Cho (UF), Daniel Bang (TAMU), Syeda Fizza Ali (TAMU), Asefeh Kardgar (TAMU), and Saira Anwar (TAMU)
Four members of the lab are heading to Washington, DC, to attend and present at the IEEE ASEE Frontiers in Education Conference.
The lab will showcase a total of four papers and two posters at the conference. Additionally, Dr. Anwar chaired the committee for the New Faculty Fellow Awards.
We had a wonderful writing retreat during the summer of 2024. Each of us began working on a paper, dedicating nearly 45 minutes of our 75-minute weekly sessions to writing and the remaining 30 minutes to providing feedback on each other’s work. This combination of focused writing time and constructive feedback helped us make significant progress and refine our papers.
